I expect nothing more than Grigg & Graham hat tricks.......................in the 1st half.
Hopefully in such a short time LJ has instilled a winning mentality into an attack minded side.

Sunderland have a new manager, Geads is back, Big Charlie is scoring goals and Diamond is looking good.
And we are at home to 14th placed Wimbledon, be honest, how many times have we been here before but this time it will be different and we will thrash them.
Yes it's the hope that kills us.

So missing 8 players due to Covid, another due to injury (all starters) and only finding out this morning/afternoon, with the U23s playing yesterday, leaving us with 13 senior players, could possibly be both keepers don't know yet.

Back to form with a 1-1 draw - I was getting worried there for a minute with us scoring more than 1 goal

Re: Sunderland v Wimbledon -- Match Day Thread
We will never know but my guess is we would have won with Saturdays team.
To cobble a team together at the last minute due to Covid and not lose is a good result IMO.
To be disappointed with a draw from a makeshift team is a good sign.
With the new momentum, a transfer window days away and the second half of the season still to play still a half full glass here.

Re: Sunderland v Wimbledon -- Match Day Thread
If this was a premier league game this would have been postponed, can't fathom how we would have been investigated for postponing seems unfair?
