Our final warm up game takes place on Saturday, 15.00 KO, at the SoL with streaming available @ £5.00.

We should get a few clues to our starting 11 come KO on the 12th September with two games before that.

Sat 5th v Hull City,  Carabao Cup
Tuesday 8th v Aston Villa, EFL Trophy.

I know many say they have no interest in these competitions but two things..

  1. It's our team playing
  2. A win is a win

Being an old beyond help fool I will be streaming all games, well it fills a few hours.

Its funny this being a fan(atic) business.
I ended last season disillusioned and wondering about keeping my season card, lock down made me realise I didn't need football.

Then we got to see the end of the premier season and I was borded.

I have just bought my pass for the game tomorrow and cant wait.

Its not my fix of football I need, its my Sunderland fix, I know you know what I mean with you also being an addict.

I never got disillusioned and had every intention  of renewing my season card but left it too late and now can't get one. Hopefully they'll be able to increase the capacity soon.. I'm not clear on the streaming either - whether you can do it straight to a smart tv or not.

Luckily I just automatically renewed.

Hoping after we thrash Harrogate Town tomorrow there is some sort of announcement about the new owners,

Sunderland round off their pre-season campaign on Saturday against Sky Bet League Two outfit Harrogate Town, (KO 3pm).
The Black Cats have won both of their pre-season friendlies so far, having seen off Gateshead FC and Carlisle United and will be looking to make it three wins in a row at the Stadium of Light.
Phil Parkinson’s forwards have reaped the rewards so far, with Will Grigg, Charlie Wyke and Chris Maguire all finding the target since the return.
Jack Diamond is in contention to face his former teammates after starring on loan last season for the EFL newcomers.
While Aiden O’Brien, Morgan Feeney and Remi Matthews will also be looking to build on their first starts for the club on Tuesday.
Elliot Embleton is expected to return after missing the friendly against Carlisle with a thigh injury.
Following tomorrow’s game, the Black Cats are back in competitive action when Hull City make the trip to Wearside in the Carabao Cup.

WeLl after 30 mins we still have not had a shot!!

We have solved the defensive issues with Wright in place, but whilst Scowen and Power are workmanlike they don’t dominate. Wyke totally ineffective, still need a striker. Lack of creativity still a problem

Very poor first half for us with no real threats on goal.

Bit of arse kicking I think
