Phil Parkinson

Phil Parkinson
Just a few short months ago we awoke to the news that Parkinson was to be our new manager, most fans seemed underwhelmed to say the least.
Covid brought our season to a shuddering stop so failure to win promotion, the clubs ownership and looking ahead to the unknown all changed our outlook and we now know when our season starts, we think and we all hope and indeed expect promotion.
But are we now behind the manager or at the very least prepared to get off his back and give him time?
Naturally how we start the season will be the decider for many but can we afford to continue with the managerial merry go round?
The added complication is what if we get a new owner, will they keep Parkinson or will they want their own man at the helm?
Its looking like anything but boring again for we Mackems.

Agree. A bit of continuity wouldn't go amiss. By the way, Melbourne is now on curfew 8pm to 5am so I probably shouldn't be commenting now.
