Tomorrow sees the return of the Premier League, Championship and play offs, all to empty stadiums with back to back football on TV.

Good news for football fanatics, nothing there for Sunderland fans.

We then go into the transfer window with an owner trying to sell after being hounded out by fans groups who pretend they speak for me even though they have never asked me.

We can expect an influx of more uninspiring signings and the sale of any player with any kind of potential.

That will be followed by season start to empty or half full stadiums.

My season card is cancelled, my excitement is at minus 10.

KTF, no more.

My wife has had a near 3 month free reign at the tele. Tomorrow footy returns and she goes to live in the bedroom out of my way. No arguments.

My season tkt is like Elton said "still standing" and awaiting my return to the  SoL for the new season commencing mid September.
