That Scottish lady who resigned over social distancing by going to her holiday home.
If she travelled alone and obeyed the distancing once she got there. Has she done anything wrong?

Whats hard to understand, you cant stand up and say stay at home then take a trip to your second home and yes I can honestly say I only go out for essentials, been out twice in last three weeks. Asda each time when I could not get delivery slot.

Well I have returned from a bike ride ( permitted under government restrictions ) I do this because it is good for me both physically and mentally. I do want to say I do abide by the restrictions at present, if they alter then so will I.
I also want to say I feel deepest sympathies for anyone obliged to live in your ( Vince and Syd ) world. It must be a really depressing place.
Ps do ware a hard hat, I don't want you getting hurt falling from your high horse.

Should ANYONE need assistance whilst away from their home, those whom attend will be put at risk.
Depending upon contact, following ANY services assistance, the responders will have to be quarantined whilst awaiting test results  BEFORE being able to help anyone else.

Pretty simple to understand I think.

So you're saying responders will be at risk by attending someone away from home, would that not apply if the person WAS at home.
I hope that is a simple enough question.

By leaving one's home you place more risk upon yourself and others, assistance required or not.
For emergency responders to aide anyone who has been involved in an accident outside of their home, it means taking away already stretched resources from those whom are already in need of help to aide someone who has needlessly placed themselves in need of it.

Keep safe all.

Can't see the problem Empty Re: Can't see the problem

Post  cyprussyd on 2020-04-11, 10:21 am

8,958. dead in UK so far and rising
I am self isolating not sitting depressed and finding lots to do.

What depresses, saddens and angers me is the daily update on deaths, not numbers but people dead and families upset and torn apart. I then read posts like wanderes and think what is there not to get?

Its not a film, TV drama or April fools day joke and I am very aware that if Annette gets it she is dead, will stop breathing and be cremated. I will bag up her clothes, handbags and shoes for the charity shop. I will get bin bags to move the things of her around the house, tell people she is gone. That's how real it is for me.

Staying at home seems a far better option for me.

Vince, can I remind you of what you said on the 25th ( 2days after the restrictions came in ) walked 3 miles today. Then on the 28th you said only time we go out is for a daily walk. That being 5 days after the restrictions came in. So when exactly did you become so high and mighty.

You know dave he dosnt understand
Yes you can go for a walk around the block for 3+ miles keeping your distance
Infact there is only a couple of people we pass on our walk
Because we walk around a housing estate.
The only other outside we do is in the garden alone
We don’t go to the shops anymore we get deliveries.
