Mine are. Unless the government say "it's extended", then back we go, right when the peak is expected..

Nah nah not at all.... Just asking how long it's been & how long they're saying it'll be extended if at all.

NZ's been since 24 March & goes until 24 April at full lock-down. Nothings allowed open expect basically supermarkets & chemists. You're not allowed to go to parks or beaches etc, just walk around the block. Police have road blocks to stop the selfish eggheads whom think they're exempt going out of town for Easter...FFS Evil or Very Mad

The lock down started on March 23rd and was initially due to last three weeks. So it should be reviewed next week but from what the government are saying already it will be extended but we don't know for how long. In fact the governments of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have already said it won't be eased for the time being.

Only essential workers are allowed out in NZ. Hospitals, "selected food suppliers" & critical repair work by plumbers etc. Anyone out of there home exercising etc. can only do so with their "Bubble" & it should only be literally around the block but ALWAYS 2m away from others at all times. For example if Mum or Dad go to the Supermarket you're not supposed to even take a child or leave then in the car in the car park although that one seems to get broken according to the wife.

Where I live. the great outdoors are just at our backdoor step & each day many drive to our location to go walking or mountain biking. Even though the Police have arrived a few times to record the plate numbers, I'm just waiting for a real local to slash the tires of the cars with bike racks on the back.

Fingers crossed we'll know soon if the curves has been flattened as the infected numbers have stated to drop in the past 2/3 days although NZ's the second death did occur yesterday, a ninety year old. Very close to more recovering in a day than being infected according to the figures.

Kia kaha (Stay strong)
I love you

Ps. Thank you LeaverM

Who's workplace are expecting you to go back next week? Empty Re: Who's workplace are expecting you to go back next week?

Post  Steve30000 on 2020-04-13, 2:47 pm

The cabinet may not be involved in the decision on extending the lockdown, the prime minister’s spokesman revealed. Although it normally meets on a Tuesday, no meeting has been scheduled for tomorrow. With Boris Johnson recovering at Chequers after his spell in intensive care, Dominic Raab, the foreign secretary and first secretary of state, is deputising in his absence. The government has to take a decision about extending the lockdown by Thursday, which is when the regulations covering England need to be reviewed. The spokesman did not say exactly how or when this would be taken, but he said the main work coordinating the government’s response to coronavirus was being taken by the morning No 10 meeting, which is chaired by Raab, and by the four coronavirus ministerial groups. The spokesman said that any decision to extend the lockdown would have to be reviewed again after three weeks. It is thought inevitable that the lockdown will be extended, and the spokesman told journalists that when the decision is formally announced, the government would “set out the reasoning behind the decision as soon as it is taken”.

They'll probably tell us on Thursday night. Too late for us that work in factories and construction sites... We'll already be at work on that day.

So if you see an increase in infections and hospital admissions, you'll have to blame us lot for spreading it.
