Bristol Rovers v Sunderland
Tue 10 Mar
KO 19:45
Memorial Stadium
Our next must win game sees us travel to the South West near Dave's place.

Bristol sit in 15th place, they lost their last game and we beat them 3-0 when they visited us, what could possibly go wrong.

Parky has IMO some big calls to make in his starting 11 but will he make them?

And maybe Scowen in midfield, dare I say it, replacing Power.

It'll be difficult for Parky to drop Max, the captain, but Bob Willis could probably 'step up' . . . . we don't half miss Catts Crying or Very sad

Must win imo. Got to hope other results go our way, seeing as we've dropped at least 4 points already..

Was it not obvious what I meant . . . . or is humour wasted here [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

If I'd said Goochy coochy coo, would you have said 'there's no such player . . . . do you mean Lynden Gooch ?' or if I'd mentioned Charlie Boy would you have said 'there's no such player . . . . do you mean Charlie Wyke ?' or Gerry Rafferty would you have said 'there's no such player . . . . do you mean Kyle Lafferty ?' [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Although I cannot see it happening we need to go for it and change formation.

Laffer n Semi must start. I would even consider sticking  blow blow blow blow blow :bng:Grigg upfront as well. We need to go for goals and wins in every game.

Lets go 4-1-3-2. I appreciate a flat back 4 incorporating Hume & O9 at full backs is iffy but hopefully with Scowen in front of the back 4 he will break things up.

I would have Gucchi, Maguire, Semanyo in a rotating roles for the wings or the middle. Laffing boy n Grigg upfront.

Alternatively leave Gucchi on the bench and leave Max in and rest Dobbo.

Match day seems to have crept up on us but its here and I will be waiting for team news with interest.

Our potent attacking force of Gooch and Maguire seem to have been found out so a change of some sort is needed and it seems the answer from most fans it to start Semenyo. We are told he was our number one target in January so it seems odd not to start him, maybe tonight is the night.

I'm hoping there is a stream from SAFC otherwise its Nick on the wireless.

Depending on our load shedding schedule, I hope to be there as per usual.
We are scheduled for a 1600-1830 cut off, which doesn't clash with the footy. like

This game is part of sky’s soccer six competition and Charlie Nicholas, Jeff stelling, Phil Thompson and Matt le tissier all have safc to win by various two goal margins bar Thompson who has 1-2 to safc
