On Saturday we head down to face MK Dons who sit in 19th place, can we continue our winning run?

The natural ambition and excitement wants us to win but a draw would not be a bad result, but lets get away from this talk of draws, 3 points please.

They are now managed by a former Norwich legend, Russell Martin.

Please go easy on them  like

I suppose begrudgingly I could settle for another game won by HT.
Just need to make sure the players are confident and not complacent.

Are you mad Smile ? I think expectation has now gone up a notch. A comfortable win please. The team has shown us what they're capable of - so no going back if that's alright with everyone. A draw against MK Dons would only be acceptable if we play as well as we have been recently and we deserve to win but dodgy refereeing conspires against us. However, that scenario is unlikely as we should be so superior the ref can't peg us back that much Smile .

Parky has got the players fit as they were way off what he wanted. Maybe that is one of the reasons for an upturn in form. No reason why we cant continue the good run.

Liam Boyce scored his 14th goal of the season to seal Burton's second successive 1-0 victory against MK Dons.
Nigel Clough's side climbed above Sunderland into the Sky Bet League One play-offs after securing their fourth league win in a row at the Pirelli Stadium.

Apparently MK Dons had 73% of the possession with 19 shots of which only 3 on target.

I know having more possession doesn't guarantee winning games, it's the matter of putting that ball in the back of the net, but it is a reality check for us if they can do that away from home.

Phil Parkinson has confirmed new signing Kyle Lafferty will be included in Sunderland’s squad to face Milton Keynes Dons on Saturday.
The Northern Ireland striker became the Black Cats’ first new face of the January window when he penned a deal until the end of the season last week.
Following a full week’s training at the Academy of Light, Lafferty will go into this weekend’s match squad despite not playing a competitive game since the start of December.
Speaking at today’s press conference, Parkinson also revealed the latest on defender Tom Flanagan after he came off at half time in last weekend’s win over Wycombe Wanderers.
“Kyle Lafferty is in the squad for the weekend,” he said.
“I want him to get in and around the boys and so far, he has fitted in really well.
“He has trained well, and we are pleased with him but he has got a right challenge on his hands.
“He has got to get right up to speed but he won’t take long.”
He continued: “Tom Flanagan had a scan but that has come back clear and he has joined in all of training today which is good news for us.
“Apart from that there is nothing fresh from the weekend.”

Fully expecting to get beat today, judging by the comments on Mk dons and last weeks battering of Burton's 🥅 last week..

So obviously not optimistic. like

They had 19 attempts of which only 3 were on target, I would not call that a battering of Burton's goal.

We have picked up in the last few weeks, so expect at least a draw but we obviously have to be aware and not take MK Dons too lightly, just like any side in this league.

Chin up!
