Our win at Doncaster was a good performance but not a great one, we can improve and that is good.

Since Parkinson's arrival he and the team have faced growing hostility and rightly so, a shit manager with a shit set of players can be forgiven for being shit but against Donny both manager and team showed they are not shit so the question is, can they now build consistency?

The three changes IMO made a difference, Lynch was an improvement on Flannagan and Dobson on Leadbitter but the big plus was Gooch but can he maintain this form?

Our Achilles heel is still in front of goal, Wyke did well as a target man but we are still short of a striker who can score week in week out.

One poster on Twitter made me smile, when the team was announced his tweet was,"A f*cking defensive back 5". At full time that changed to,"Just shows what can be achieved Parky with attacking wing backs".

Same system, same players just a different perspective.

2 pressure games ahead that could define mood and season, back to back wins at Fleetwood then that all important home win.

Whilst I don't like commenting on games I haven't seen fully, I was glad of that result.  Reading between the lines it looks as if we are trying to develop a 3-5-2 formation using our two speed merchants up front more effectively.  Generally considered an attacking formation I see nowt wrong with that.
