I wouldnt give a flying one if we paid all his wage. Get him out of our club.
I think every SAFC supporter attending the home games would hoy a quid in the buckets to help out.

If he does good luck to him. It simply hasnt worked out for him here. I never thought he wanted to be here. I also thought when we signed him we had to adapt our style (?????????????) to play to his strengths. All we have done is hoof balls up in the air. Played him upfront on his own.
Both him and us are sh*te at this particular time.

So we're playing the wrong system. No point playing hoofball if your sole intention is to get promoted.
Play it on the deck and we might climb the league. We're better than our position suggests, we've got the wrong manager

Re: Blackpool interest in grigg
spend £4m on a player then loan him out AND pay half his wages as his contract continues to expire - sounds like a great plan...

Exactly Fitz. It's a bad deal, if they want him, then pay for him.

Problem is though we're between a rock & a hard place if he just run's his contract down at our place, alla RodwellSteve30000 wrote:Exactly Fitz. It's a bad deal, if they want him, then pay for him.

Ps. I've always been an advocate of building your own culture by developing from within whilst placing the majority of remuneration on performance & not base.

all signings are a gamble, you never quite know how its going to pan out. Griggs body language says he hates it here. He never really celebrates on the odd occasion he has scored, its always muted.

If you look at the way he scored for Wigan, his "celebration" is exactly the same.
How do you explain that? Did he not like it there either?

He's too embarrassed to go wild as so much more has been expected of him.barrowmackem wrote:all signings are a gamble, you never quite know how its going to pan out. Griggs body language says he hates it here. He never really celebrates on the odd occasion he has scored, its always muted.

To be honest kipper I never did expect much from him. Always rated him as average and nothing more.
I would love him to come good as it probably means SAFC are doing a little better however the bloke has had too many chances imo.

Puts to bed the notion that he doesn't seem bothered when he scores though, doesn't it barrow?
He's done it wherever he's been.
