On Saturday we are back to that old fashioned 3 O'Clock kick off with no cups to fight for, a team that looks short in confidence, form and interest and a fan base on the brink.

The optimism and hope is fading and to say this is a must win game is a massive understatement.

Injuries, match fitness and any other excuse wont be tolerated. We have been consistently told that our squad is one of the best in the league and its a squad with cover in every position.

I will be there but cant say I am going with any excitement or indeed much hope and when the hope fades we are getting into dangerous territory.

It will be interesting to see how many turn up.

I will be there Saturday as per, but not Tuesday conflicting duties. Saturday could turn nasty in my opinion if fans like Steve30000 have their way Parky is trying to get a new tune out of an old fiddle, suspensions and injuries and internationals have all hindered his attempts. Would I want to manage us not f*cking likely.
So for the true fans get behind the team and do what fans are supposed to do, and for the rest just stay away.

Get a grip Syd, there's always hope. What happened to glass half full? I'm looking forward to Saturday but glad I haven't witnessed the recent cup performances. Saturday will be different.

I think your use of Steve30000 and fans in the same sentence is a perfect example of an oxymoron  Twisted Evil

I will be there and I am more hoping we win rather than expecting to win.

There is obviously something wrong over there again. Have the players fell out with each other? We seem to be getting a lot of injuries again (how long is Wyke n Goochy out for).

I think we need to win the next 2 home games to stay on the leaders tails or alternatively the Americans need to persuade Poch to take over now.

Well we struggle to keep clean sheets, so a reverse score line to the corresponding fixture from last season will do me. Not sure it will be good for the heart rate though but entertaining nonetheless. like Very Happy

PP: Our focus is on the league. Every bit of energy will be going into the league. It’s been disjointed but we’re looking forward to getting our teeth into the league now.

I so want this to be true but I'm sure we all feel that a loss and poor display tomorrow could turn very nasty.

Your comment in red is very true. 80% win ratio by Jan 1 or he'll be gone with new owners on board?

Yes, lashing down here too. There is a nasty bug going round so stay warm and dry, our little one has not been herself for nearly three weeks after catching some lurgy.

For info chaps and chapesses if any lurking, I will open Chatbox soon, but may be a bit distracted.

also down with a bad cold and wife is worse so no chance for me to make it up today - and looking at the scoreline it doesn't look as though I am missing a classic - at this time it looks like they have had 3 time as many shots and 4 efforts on goal to our single effort - not great.

no chance this team gets out of league 1 this season - its a worse squad than last season and we couldn't manage it last year so why would anything be different this time around?

Ross had less defeats with this team over a full season, than this joker has with a handful.

He's a worse manager, he clearly can't motivate them, and his tactics are clueless.

We're in a relegation battle in league one. Cheers donald

ROSS BACK? Smile

I think it is more that the squad is worse than it was last year - we have lost Cattermole and Honeyman and they have not been replaced and we have not really brought anyone in so if the team before was incapable of getting promoted automatically (or indeed, at all) how is a worse squad going to fare any better?

as seems to be the case most weeks - they don't get enough shots in - we have 50% possession but less than half as may shots (and only a couple even on target).

Strange how Ross didn't have us losing as many games as this joker.

Must be a bizarre coincidence that parkinson has lost more games in a shorter space of time, whilst playing like complete crap

We all have differing views. Here's my take on today.

Grigg is a waste of a good skin. Why do managers pick him? Have they been ordered to by SD?. Benji as raw as he is has done more in 10 mins than Grigg has in about 20 effing games. I hate knocking Grigg cos I would love him to succeed but it isnt going to happen.
McGeady & McGuire extremely poor again today. Are they actually trying.
Why was Lleadbitter picked?
Personally thought only Hume n O9 tried today. Dunc n Benji made a difference.

And as much as I bear a grudge and want Coventry to go out of business I apologised to four of their supporters outside the ground for taking 2 points off them.

Summing up we were f*cking w*nk.
