we drove up to near the scottish borders for our holiday, arrived Monday, got some bad news regarding a relation Monday evening and had to drive back home on Tuesday - not the greatest vacation ever
Oh dear - hope things have improved for your relative. All the best to you and hope you get your holiday eventually.

thanks - I was hoping to make the game tomorrow but that won't be happening now - maybe in a couple of weeks we will get back up for a good home game.

Right. Todays the day (no not the day the bears get their picnic) we beat Pompey, start taking controlof this league and win it the wy we should have done last season.

There. I have spoken. It shall be.

Yes I think it will be a good game and I have a sneaky feeling that our season starts today in earnest, dont ask who earnest is, oh that drunken night in Scunthorpe.

The good news is we are on Sky so I will get to see the game, just maybe an hour or two after it finishes so I'm hoping to be looking forward to it and not just delete when I see the score.

Anyway, to all going today, there will be 30,000 plus, enjoy.

OK so I was wrong in terms of how we got there but that is now 2-2 in guessing the scores - maybe I should become a gambling man after all? Smile

A great win and we played with much more determination to win the ball. Great effort.

You right. Not a great deal of skill on display today but like you say a determined, committed performance from a team that put a shift in for the badge today.

It did get to the stage in the last 10 mins where I was biting the lasses fingernails next to me as by this time my fingers were stumps.

I would expect Rochdale & Wimbledon to be slightly easier(no disrespect to both teams) and I am hoping for at least 4 points from them two games. I think after beating Pompey today people will take notice of that result.
