Of course before Sky gets their hands on them, what are the odds of our first home game against manure been switched to some televised time?

I've almost given up putting the fixtures in my diary, unless of course there can be an automatic update on my phone?

Yes I may try and use this. Because I play golf at the weekend, what day we play and what time we play needs to feed into the timetable, late changes, like a couple of seasons ago there was a very late switch to a later time of the spuds game..throws everything out of kilter.

Sunderpitt I use Google calendar on my laptop and on 'other calendars' I found a calendar that loads our fixtures into it (I also add Newcastle and Everton fixtures) and this updates when fixtures are changed, although not in real time, it takes a day or so usually. But I am sure that something similar must be available for smartphone.

As for our fixtures I knew that we would have AWAY, games, first and last this season as we had home games first and last, last season. That is not really fair and I think the computer should ensure all teams have a home game either first or last day.

I also note that we play Man U, Spurs, Arsenal, Everton, Chelsea, and Man City all at home first half of the season so, like last year the team has difficult away games towards the end of the season. Let's hope things are a little less fraught for us in April and May next year eh? Again though I would expect the computer to be able to mix up the games so that every team gets an even spread of home and away games between last seasons top and lower placed teams. It really should not be beyond the wit of a decent programmer.

Anyway I plan on attending the first home game vs Man Utd but expect that will change from Saturday at 3pm once Sky and BT announce their first round of televised matches.
