Fantasy Football League Play-Off FINAL

Post  Mackemneil on 2014-05-08, 9:02 pm

Congratulations to The Outlaw Jozy and Smeggystrong Cheese for reaching the FINAL of the Play-Offs.

So whilst we are more relaxed on Sunday after seeing Sunderland's Miracle Workers achieve safety, these two will be fighting the nerves again as 3 o'clock approaches.

In the Semis the Outlaw scored 92 points in beating Willyswonkers 92-75 and Smeggy (finished 6th in the League) scored 91 points in beating the SeaBass 91-43. High scoring indeed suggests a very close final, GOOD LUCK to both of you. thumb

Thanks Neil, Rooney being out and Mata (his captain) only playing two thirds of a game made all the difference to hubby's team (willys wonkers). He nearly picked Dzeko as captain instead, so he was gutted! Not that he is competitive tongue

I was gutted to only get 9th in the league and not be in the play offs. Not that I am competitive either like  Very Happy

Thanks for all your hard work this year, it has been fun. Are you going to do a league for the World Cup?  bounce bounce  Please? bounce bounce Very Happy

A
Congratulations to the Outlaw Jozy for winning the Play-Off final 58-54 against Smeggystrong Cheese.

The Outlaw Jozy also won the league over 35 games.

hope you all enjoyed it and I would be happy to organise it again next season if there is enough interest.

I will look to see what we can do during the World Cup as well as Jerry's predictions.

not a bad season after all  yipeee
