Realy wanted to go, but financially, out of the question, Always take my car, but for one game its around 2500 miles, the ferry from Necastle to Ijmuden is absolute bollocks money wise. Driving to Dover, and the ferry to Dunkirk, 48 mpg, ferry return only £50, Still works out at over £500. Thats not counting Hotels, eating, And entry. for ninety minutes,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,NAH.

Current circumstances mean there is no chance for me, much as I would like to go. Perhaps if they do another pre-season game in Denmark/Sweden next summer, and let us know in plenty of time, I might think about combining the match with visiting some of the places I have learned about in brilliant TV series such as Wallander, The Killing, Those Who Kill, The Bridge and Borgen.

Not sure I would want to go now H, sounds more dangerous than Emmerdale.

If finances allowed I would go to every match. Unfortunately since marriage & screaming sh*t machine came along away matches have had to stop.

I didn't realise you could get ferries from Newcastle? They went from North Shields last time I used a one..
