Not a bad effort if he is an amateur, but I can't see it getting played on regular basis..As Syd said earlier, it is not very inspirational..

He's not an amateur by the way, he's done stuff with The Strawbs, Paul McCartney and had some of his work mixed and recorded at Abbey Road Recording studios, and to me thats pretty good,,now I dont know if youve ever picked up an instrument at all but the song did inspire me and its catchy too especially the chorus.

All about taste mate, maybe its age but I prefer inspirational stuff, loud, dramatic.

I'm not what you would call musically gifted, although some have told me I'm pretty handy on the organ, but I do listen to a wide range of music ranging from classical to heavy, or even punk, rock. What I have learned over the years is that musical tastes are universally subjective.

Absolutely right - ecept for the lad opposite me at work who, until a couple of weeks ago, used to run the Blaydon Races in my face constantly... He's been quiet recently - wonder why?

Well done for apologising Very Happy As a newbie on here maybe you haven't realised that this forum is different to many others.

While we often have disagreements, we avoid personal abuse or foul language (usually!), nor do we SHOUT!

Commo is a good lad who is a great contributor to this site. Although I am sure he would admit himself his posts can be a little .... blunt .... at times. tongue

see i'm not a musician, but i think the lad loves the team enough to write a song about them, and he's got all the important bits in the song, so i think we should give him a bit praise for trying.Smile
