After working for the same company for 45 years seven months i am taking early retirement.
Today is my last shift but have holidays so i am offically a pensioner on April 2nd.
I join an ilustrious group on here. 62 years young, just a lad to some of my elders on here.

Blimey Barrow, you're still in short trousers.

Seriously though, enjoy your retirement and do all the things that you never had time for  like

You will officially become a full grown up SunderMadder and old fart.

Enjoy

Whatever you do, pace yourself.  Retirement is a stroll, not a marathon. One of my favourite analogies about it was a wife asking hubby what he was going to do today, when he said nothing she said he did that yesterday and he said he hadn't finished it.

Seriously though, enjoy it.

Wow - this type of long service just doesn't happen any more. Well done and make sure you enjoy all that retirement brings - don't do what I have done and fill every moment with "busy" Very Happy
