Early days yet as they have a right of appeal but there has always been a bit of a cloud of City's dealings since the middle east became involved and the crux of the problem is sponsorship income.

The Premier League will now intensify its investigation into Manchester City following Uefa's sensational decision to ban them from European football for two seasons. (Mirror)
Manchester City are facing a possible Premier League points deduction and could even be forced to play in League Two in the w

Not ITK but heard that Sunderland have offered Pep, Stirling and De Bruyne a way out of City. Mind all would have to take a pay cut.

Well it’s certainly been interesting following City since I was a kid!!!

I’m not in the mood to rant about Uefa (Fifa) and FFP other than to say Uefa instigating, investigating and passing judgement about breaking rules and maybe corruption is laughable.  The old cartel seem to have got their way but it’s far from over as City will be taking the case to CAS which will be a different kettle of fish.

One thing that can’t be taken away from me is the great experiences and memories of the last 10 years so up yours Uefa!

Looking on the bright side, we may well be playing you sooner than we thought.  Very Happy

Oh, one last comment F### of Uefa. piss

Bleeding hell even Gary Neville is now having a go at FFP, he does admit that he’s got a vested interest in the situation because he’s a co owner of Salford City but that dos’nt distract from the fact he is right. I still don’t like him though.

This isn’t just about City for me, if we’ve broken bent rules then I’ll accept the punishment and get on with it but strangely for me I won’t be embarrassed in the slightest.  I’m far more embarrassed if one of our players starts regularly diving etc.

Despite the fact that Martin Samuel ( several times Sports Journalist of the year ) writes for the Mail he has always told it as it truly is regarding Uefa,Fifa, FFP etc.  I’m not tech savvy enough to post a 2 page article he’s written today but the headline reads,

“Whatever City have done wrong, the game as framed by Uefa and Europe’s privileged elite is BENT.”

There are also some quotes by Platini and Rummenigge which are quite revealing.

I don’t expect any of you to bother reading the article as you may think it dos’nt concern you but it does.  If it effects Gary Neville at Salford City it most definitely effects  a club the size of Sunderland.

I’m pretty sure that potential future owners of any club will be following this case closely, if City don’t manage to break this cartel then I don’t know who will.

Sorry to bore you all.  Wink

It is Dave, empire building with little or no accountability.  Thieves like Blatter and Platini have been found out but very little has been done to them, not much of a deterrent for the rest of them that are still there.

I’ve always liked Martin Samuel,  he never shows any affinity to a particular club, organisation or sport, he just says it as it is whether good or bad.  It’s bloody refreshing.

I think City and PSG made mistakes when they accepted the fines etc in 2014, they should have challenged Uefa then as FFP is contrary to business competition rules and most definitely wasn’t set up to protect clubs going bust.  It was designed to stop upstarts dining at the top table.

Who knows whether CAS will uphold City’s appeal but one thing is certain,  City will go all out through the Swiss courts.

Over and out.
