No time to rest on our laurels as we head down south to meet 7th placed Pompy.

With 3rd place Ipswich playing 4th placed Peterborough a win will be massive.

It was always going to be tough but after last nights exertions on that pitch (very loosely termed) and I think we need changes to the starting 11.

I would have Lafferty in for at least the 1st half. Wyke on the bench to come on. I think I would also consider putting Scowen in and having Dobson on the bench. Shame to change a side that has shown consistency since playing together but that is the reason we have a squad.

Certainly not knocking any of the players but playing football last night wasnt really possible. I think Pompey will come out of the blocks hoping to get a quick goal.

Having said all that PP is building a bloody good solid team who are difficult to beat.

I am more hopeful than confident. I would be happy with a point, ecstatic with a win but due to last nights exertions fear a loss. Hope I am wrong and we continue our relentless march to automatic.

I think we have had a damn fine transfer window. Only time will tell but we have cover in all positions now with some bloody good options to come off the bench if needed.

Yes, our recruitment team.owner and manager have had some stick but IMO they all played a blinder. We all saw the rumours and indeed some nailed on by the journos but in the end got our number one targets.

Very impressed with our final signing who goes straight into today's squad but to do that you need signing before midday. So he was signed sealed but not delivered until last minute.

And we even kept Robson and Grigg so more options.

Poor buggers on Twitter had to stay quiet, well almost.

3 points today to top the week off would be good.

Unfortunate on Dobbo who is getting better with game time but I agree get Scowen in. Hopefully he is the Catts type player we have missed.

Well Steve and Wanderer are quiet atm.

I'm not liking the ref piss poor. Excuse my language but a couple of situations where we should have had a penalty...i rest my case.

I’m a bit poorly so missed out today.

We lost, one of those things, it happens but it’s still in safcs own hands

Fingers crossed at home we get the rub of the green next Saturday

We got thrashed sadly - although my team won one of our games so provided one of our 2.5 points! Lost the match 10.5 to 2.5 (3 teams of 4 play 4 games each - winners get a point , a tie is a half point, and the team with most shots at end of the match get an extra point. Think we lost by over 20 shots as well. Was a bad night! But currently this team we wre playing is like Liverpool in Premier League - way ahead - and it was at their home, so playing on their very fast carpets ( yes - getting all the excuses in Very Happy )
