On Sunday we travel to The Keepmoat Stadium for a 15.00 KO against Doncaster who sit level on points with us.

Our present form says we can expect another defeat but I dont go into any game expecting a defeat, we will only revers our drop by being positive so what on earth have we to be positive about?

Well we are away from home and that can take some pressure off and may just suit our style.

I think we can be sure of starting with a back 3/5 and after Flannagan limped off we could see a change there.

So here in Spennymoor I will be listening with positive head and hope.

Tickets for Sunderland’s trip to Doncaster Rovers have sold out.
The Black Cats will be backed by around 4,000 fans when they travel to the Keepmoat Stadium on Sunday 29 December (KO 3pm).

And without them Donald wouldn't be able to pay the players wages.

Time now for the players to understand that and repay the fans by getting a result in every game left this season.

Surprised but not shocked, its what Sunderland fans do. I'm sure every one of them is as pissed off as you are Steve, we all are but its how we react.

Your way is to be a constant voice of negativity, defeat and criticism and many are like you and that's your choice. I dont see you as a moron, a mag or even a bad fan, just not the sort of fan I chose to be near, I react badly to negativity and when it becomes constant I stop reading in the end, my brain sees the first few words and shuts off, just how I am.

And that for me is the problem with the Donald out thing, it just becomes a big negative protest movement and creates a us and them. Things are bad, very bad and I dont see how abusing and insulting Donald helps anyone. The Donald out has given free reign on Twitter to the abusers who are loving it.

One of two things will happen,

  1. Donald will say f*ck them all and dig in
  2. Donald will say f*ck them all and sell to the first bidder

Either option is, IMO full of high risk.

What we should be doing is working together, owner and fans to find a way forward.

I was at the Bolton game and ask one question.

With 25 minutes to go the South stand started singing SKP name followed by Parky out, did that help or hinder the team?

The Coxhoe branch bus left at 9.05 today for Doncaster and I guarantee every one on board is well pissed off with things. But they will enjoy their stop off at the pub and do what they can to cheer the team on, they will do their bit, its just what they and many more do.

I don't go to a lot of away games but am a season ticket holder and will go to all games. I will be a season ticket holder next year as well but many won't. Our crowds will shrink considerably if we stay i n this division .

I would have liked to be at Donny today, sadly not to be. Eagerly waiting team news, and a display full of effort, can't ask for more.

Well half time almost up and your prediction could well be right.

Watching the game live, its what fans do.

Good first half and we could well win this, showing lots of fight and desire IMO
