Postpone or not
Postpone or not?
With International call ups coming Ross is faced with a decision, postpone games or not.
With the cover we now have I would say no, lets not fall into last seasons trap of games in hand.
What would you do?

Re: Postpone or not?
Sunderland AFC supporters are advised that the club’s upcoming fixture against Fleetwood Town has been postponed.
The Sky Bet League One game falls within a period designated for international fixtures, and as three or more players have now been selected by their respective nations, the club made the request to the EFL to postpone the fixture, which they duly granted.
Originally scheduled to take place on Saturday 12 October, the Wearside clash will now be rescheduled, with further details to follow in due course.
Tickets already purchased will remain valid for the re-arranged date.

A wise move for me. Fleetwood are a tough to beat team so let's take them on with our strongest.

Have you seen who's been called up?Nostalgic wrote:A wise move for me. Fleetwood are a tough to beat team so let's take them on with our strongest.
Jon McL can easily be replaced by Burge who is actually showing better form at the moment.
Flanagan - 4th choice centre-back.
Not sure if Grigg has been called up but would you miss him?
Conor McL - now our 1st choice at right back but could be replaced as a one-off by O'Nien.
In a week where JR has said the team will benefit from not having a mid-week fixture, does he really want a pile-up later on? Or is he planning to just chuck the next 2 cup games?

Yet another home Saturday game moved to midweek, no doubt it will be a wet cold Tuesday night.

Four players are four players in the end. We would be giving Fleetwood an edge we can hardly afford.Kipper wrote:Have you seen who's been called up?Nostalgic wrote:A wise move for me. Fleetwood are a tough to beat team so let's take them on with our strongest.
