Can we keep the winning streak going, yes we can.

But what will the team be?

Doesn't matter. We virtually have 20 odd players playing well vying for 11 positions. Another win for the cuddlies.😁

Jack Ross gives an injury update ahead of Sunderland's trip to Peterborough United
Duncan Watmore faces a few weeks out but there is better news on Marc McNulty, while Chris Maguire is a doubt

Duncan Watmore will be sidelined for another two to three weeks after suffering a recurrence of the thigh injury which has ruled him out since the opening day of the season.
The winger had been set to make his comeback in Sunderland's Carabao Cup win at Burnley on Wednesday but was forced to pull out of the game after suffering the setback on the eve of the game.

And Jack Ross says Watmore now faces another few weeks out of action.
"Duncan was scheduled to play on Wednesday but suffered a recurrence of his injury post-training on Tuesday, so he will remain absent," said Ross.
"It's unfortunate for him, and he will be out for another two or three weeks."
Ross is hoping to have frontman Marc McNulty available for Saturday's trip to Peterborough United, with the on-loan Reading man having recovered from the hamstring problem he picked up in the win over Portsmouth a fortnight ago.

But Chris Maguire , who scored a hat-trick against AFC Wimbledon last weekend, is an injury doubt for the visit to London Road after picking up a knock although he will be assessed again on Friday before Ross makes a call on his fitness.

Ross said: "Marc trained today but Chris didn't train because he has a slight knock.

"We made eight changes for the cup game but all of those who did not play, with the exception of Chris, were only rested and will be available.

It is getting to the stage where we are reading key players are injured but we have key players to come in. Great position to be in at the moment.

Shame about Watmore, very good player but he really is a sicknote. Let's hope the medical team can sort him out  like

TBF to Duncan he has had two injuries that could have ended his career but fought back. However long it takes is fine by me.

Is he out of contract at the end of the season? Unless he gets a good few games under his belt and stays relatively injury free I cannot see SAFC offering him a new one.

Right enough of politics and the state of the country, we have more important things to concern us, 3 more points.

Maguire a doubt but has travelled and Duncan out.

I suspect we will revert to the first choice team.

So do I but who steps in if Maguire is out? Personally I would like O9 in midfield but if he leaves him at RB and puts Dobbo in then equally happy.

I would be more than happy with that assuming Maguire is out.

I would imagine Dobson would be disappointed if he is out,

After Wednesdays showing we are in a great place, we can change the team and not weaken it. Mcglaughlin did well at right back, Flanagan and Baldwin, Dobson and its right through the team.

If Maguire is out then I’d stick McNulty into the 10 position; other than that, same as last week please.

The situation with Maguire and Hume explained...

It's understood that both Maguire and Hume have slight knocks, and so weren't risked today.
