Time for some gratitude, IMO Empty Time for some gratitude, IMO

When we see the death of Bury and the life support given to a doomed Bolton we may have to rethink our opinion of Ellis Short and some may have to change their opinion of Donald.

Shorts reign was a disaster, of that there can be little doubt, however he pumped into the club 3 mil a month to keep it alive then wrote of the debts to give Donald a chance. I read a lot about tax breaks and dodgy Yanks and I guess if we want to we will always find something to discredit most people. I prefer to look at what Short did and for me he saved us from Bury's fate.

Donald was and is still seen by some as the Del Boy of football, out to make a quick buck but I see no evidence of that and without evidence why keep promoting it.

IMO its a case of there but for the grace of god with gratitude needed for our two saviours, Short and Donald.

I will accept I thought Stewy was a chancer when he came but it looks like Ellis had the club at heart as does the current board.
