This transfer window was looking a wee bit grim but suddenly it's looking very good.
I'm happy with all of our new signings, all will hopefully improve us and we may even have one or two more to come.

Oviedo is as good as gone and with a packed midfield we can expect at least one to leave, my money is on Power.

Next weeks big kick off is looking more and more appealing and I guess nothing but a good win is needed, let's kill the draws and make a statement.

Yes Syd glad Oviedo is on his way soon and Power has not really done it for us has he, so no tears from me if your predictions come off.

I think the Coventry CB will be a good un. I think Dobbo will be a class act AND become captain of SAFC and I sincerely McNulty hits the ground running and bangs the goals in.

Roll on next week.

Also happy, but disagree on Power front!

Last season we often lacked a physical presence in midfield and in some matches we will need that again. Though we have a large squad of midfielders many are still young and light of frame, the likes of Power, Robson and Dobson will provide a lot more than Honeyman, Gooch and Embleton. So, I can see Ross rotating the midfielders and using all of them. Also, I do like young Sammut too, can see him developing into a class player.

Oviedo, Watmore and Mcgeouch may be the ones that go, though I can see the talent McGeouch has got he is not consistent and Ross has left him out many times.

Looking forward to the season  yipeee
