Well Dave is back home safe and sound but he can explain better than me about his health.

Annette has been moved onto the physio ward, blood pressure still low but they are happy with the result of the operation. Today she starts walking with a frame and help but we hope she will be home sooner rather than later. A stair lift is being installed tomorrow morning so she will be able to get up the stairs to bed and I have bought risers and booster cushion to lift her chair and seat height.

All I have to so now is teach my head to switch off so I can sleep at night.

Aww God bless you both - sounds like all under control though. A tot of whisky might help at bed time! Take care xx

Sadly my health has taken a downturn, if I walk just a few yards, I have to rest and get my breath back.

I have a pre op assessment at Southmead a week tomorrow so they will check my bloods and everything, hopefully that will show what's happening.

I enjoyed seeing Syd, albeit briefly and had some quality time with Jerry and Nic, hoping for a more successful trip next time!   like

An update.

Tuesday morning I had my pre op assessment, back home by 1030.

1755 a phone call from Southmead ending up with me being rushed into Weston General.

I have just got home having had four (4) blood transfusions.

My haemoglobin, which should be 130 was in fact 49  Twisted Evil

No wonder I was struggling  What a Face

Hi Dave, I have a message from vinkel for you:

He wishes you well for your recovery and told me he is supporting his own brother who will hopefully be out of hospital tomorrow after having 6 pints of blood for low hgb levels. He also has had ongoing health problems and has been in hospital a week. Anyway vinkel just wanted you to know he was thinking of you.

I have asked vinkel to come back to us - not sure why he left but he and quite a few others are a sad miss.
