Well the countdown begins to the game that will decide our immediate future, Championship or League 1 again?

So far we have sold around 27,000 of our 37,000 allocation so we could struggle to sell out, some are shocked at this but I'm not that surprised.

Following our Wembley visit a few week's ago its a big ask for many to dig deep again, £60 ticket then at least £50 travel by bus on a bank holiday weekend is, IMO a big ask. I am shocked at myself, I just cant get that excited about it, looking forward to watching on Sky but TBH I have a kind of if we do we do but if we dont fair enough.

Why is that, cant put my finger on it but the good news is we have many fans who live away from the north east so make very few if any games, maybe the odd away game. That means no purchase history so usually cant get tickets, all should for this one so that, IMO is a good thing.

Anyway I'm sure the excitement will kick in and the nerves will be shredded, again. Oh the joys.

Thought you'd be going Syd after missing out last time.

I need to go for 2 reasons - my son insists on it and I don't want to miss out on seeing us promoted. It's been a decent season and I want to see the lads get what they've fought for.

The Checkatrade was hyped up so much and everyone thought that would be our only Wembley trip. I guess it's just been harder for some to get pumped up about this. However, if there was ever a time the team need support, this is it.

TBH there is no way I could leave Annette for that long and there is only me to look after her.

But I will enjoy watching it with her on Sky and when we win it wont stop my joy.

Enjoy your day and those cheesy chips.

Fair enough Syd, I hope you don't think I was having a dig. We will both enjoy it in our own way.

I thought I would try the impossible on this nice Thursday and try to breath some life into SunderMad, daft I know.

My predicted starting 11 is..

MACLAUGHLIN
ONIEN  OZTURK  FLANAGAN  OVEIEDO
CATTERMOLE  LEADBITTER
MAGUIRE  HONEYMAN  MORGAN
WYKE

McGeady on the bench to come on if needed.

My prediction's the same, Syd, but I'd rather have Power in instead of The Honeymonster, 'cos he's a better player and a bigger threat to Charlton [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I'd be happy with that but I'd be happy with a few other options as well. We have a good squad. I'd be disappointed if Maguire doesn't start though - I think he'll support Wyke well.. McGeady - if he's fit enough to play should he start? That wide Wembley pitch could suit him, then he can get rested after we're 3-0 up.

I know Honeyman gets knocked by many but I like him and the energy he brings to the team. But I agree Kipper, we are in a position I didn't see coming with options all over the pitch.

Back from trip to Centreparcs with kids - supposed to be a holiday but all the adults have returned home feeling like they have just run a marathon. The kids are fine of course and have had a whale of a time!

I have been trying to keep up witn news and views but have not had much time to post.

So we have another busy weekend ahead with being Bank Holiday but kids, daugher and hubby have been warned - Sunday at 3pm is all quiet on the western front so i can watch in peace as we hopefully win, and without penalties this time.

I will try to do Chatbox for our ex-pats but it is very hard to type when biting fingernails so might not be able to update aa much as I normally try to Very Happy

I'm torn between watching it live at 2AM Sunday, with every chance of dosing off, or do a catch up after a bad night's sleep wondering we are doing.
