Protest Empty Protest

There is a story going round that fans are not buying tickets for Saturday in protest, protest against what?

Looking at ticket sales it could be true and if it is we are getting like those up the road.

Ridiculous IMO.

Maybe it's an alternative way for some to say that they can't be bothered or they don't want to spend more money when it's on the telly, and/or they've just 'had enough' of this season ('cos of a lack of confidence in being successful in the play-offs) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] . . . . either way, it doesn't sound right [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I heard a couple of people, whilst in the queue for tickets on Monday, whingeing about the ticketing system, and one lad gave up 'cos the girl wouldn't sell him tickets 'cos of him not having a purchase history . . . . even after he pointed out to her that she sold him his tickets for the Portsmouth game a couple of weeks ago !

That's the only sort of protest that makes any sense to me, but I'd imagine that instances/experiences like this are 'few and far between' [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Personally, I think they should have included this game in the season card to ensure a good attendance and as a good gesture to the support we've given through the season. However, I didn't protest and bought tickets anyway.
