I don't even know if he'll be fit to play against Accrington, but he should be important for us for the rest of the season. We're not getting the best out of him though and we could be doing more to enhance his goal scoring chances. A lot of people say it's because we just hoof it up to him and hope for the best. I don't particularly see that. Whether it's a long high ball or a shorter one along the ground, the problem to me is that those balls are going straight to him when he has his back to the goal. League one defenders don't give any space- they climb all over forwards in that position and that has happened to just about all our forwards including Maja who was frequently bullied off the ball when given it in those positions.

I just think he needs more support up top. Either with Maguire running all over the place, causing confusion amongst defenders and opening up space or by using the big lad Wyke to use his physicality more and get more balls to pass on to Grigg. Let's just find a way to let Grigg be the player he is.

I agree Kipper - think Wyke and Grigg could make a good partnership so they both need to play. Far be it from me to second guess Jack Ross but we need wins and so he has to play two up top, or at least Grigg behind Wyke, especially if McGeady is not available.
