Well we move onto Saturday and our next challenge, will it be an easy game? Well we all know the answer to that one, it is however the first of our must win games.

Barnsley are away to Doncaster Rovers on Friday, far from a given 3 points, so we could go into our game knowing we can take back control of our own destiny.

I can see a big crowd, well when you think of the scramble from over 38,000 fans for Wembley tickets we must have at least 39.000, wont we?

Whose correct Syd.
The league table to the left says Sunderland have played 37 but the BBC say 36.

I would prefer to stick with our average gate and not have these "lifelong" supporters who have probably never been to a game this season.

Fortunately where I sit it is all ST holders and are a good bunch.

Back to the post and is this our 4th encounter this season with Walsall? I dont think we have beaten them and we were woeful against them in the cup up here.

Our turn to win and tighten the screw on the top 2.

I agree that will be the team but I would still like Matthews restored to RB & O9 moved behind Grigg with unlucky Power dropping down to the bench.

So near but so far, sorry to let you down and heartbroken to be missing the game, yes it really does mean that much.

Annette has had a bad few days but to show me I was fine to go she decided to show me that she could stand up herself and look after herself. Well she was wrong and I was right, she fell to the floor, no real damage done and I have now managed to get her to bed to sleep but, no way I can leave her.

Yes I know its just a game, family come first and all that but, it still does not make me feel any better, selfish yes but I was so looking forward to today.

Barnes and Benno it is.

Hope your lady is okay , mind you I reckon she would prefer an afternoon of peace and quiet and not 3 blokes shouting about about 22 blokes watched by 39,000 blokes , might be crowded in your front room . Have an enjoyable listen and look forward to Benno moaning we only scored 6 and Mclaughlin was asleep in a hammock between the posts all afternoon . Glass half full and three points good man .
