Never a dull moment

Post  cyprussyd on 2019-03-09, 5:28 pm

We had a nightmare game, Honeyman sent off, Flanagan carried off and a goal down

We drew, 4 points behind second laced Barnsley with a game in hand.

Tuesday could be tasty.

This team dont know when to give up, we are going up and will win the cup.

Working & so didn't catch the game so....... were the sendings off justified or was it just 'handbags' late in a tight match?

We probably played our worst this season so a draw was great. Two sending off came after the ball went out and into dug out area, Wyckham coach kept the ball to waste time, Honeyman got the ball knocking coach over and all hell let lose. Third was a bad foul on Watmore.

Fortunately we have a decent bench which allows JR to play differing formations to counteract this loss.

On a personal level I am gutted for Honeyman who will miss the chance to lead his boyhood team out at Wembley, unless of course the club can get the red card over turned.

But on a team level we could find that his loss and Flanagans potential injury turns into a blessing with some good replacements available.
