Wycombe Wanderers v Sunderland Empty Wycombe Wanderers v Sunderland

Post  cyprussyd on 2019-03-06, 3:36 am

On Saturday it's back to the bread and butter of winning promotion with a trip to 12th place Wycombe Wanderers.

Last time out saw Wycombe lose 4-2 at Peterbrough and I have joined Jack and the squad in the winning mentality gang and fully expect 3 points.

It will be the same for the rest of the season with no walk overs just that hard work and dogged determination to win.

I think we also know the starting 11 if fit and we can even start to name who comes in in most positions if there are injuries.

With Wembley waiting for us at the end of the month and Barnsley next Tuesday it could be a very good month ahead.

Grigg is a better player than I thought we were getting. Best signing of the lot. Wish we could get Morgan permanently, this lad has potential.

They are both excellent. That was a cracking transfer window.

Well after the trials and tribulations of buying cup final tickets we return to priority one, promotion.

There as been talk of how the cup will affect players, I would have thought they will all be trying hard to keep their place in the team.

2 or 3 players out through illness for Wycombe apparently. So c'mon Gil where's your prediction? Something daft or will you be sensible and put us down for a 4-0 win?

I fully expect 3 points and I expect nothing less than that. A slight concern is will we be concerned about Wembley or the Barnsley game?

PS, I would settle for a scrappy 1-0 win tho with the ball bouncing in off Catts left buttock.

I'd like to apologies to Watmore. Praying it isn't serious. I meant no malice. I know he has just returned from a long layoff and i would like to wish him a speedy recovery!

not the worst result but with the teams ahead of us picking up points on a regular basis we really need to start piling on the wins - very few losses but too many draws Sad

Yes we need those points, but I love the fact this team never know when they are beaten. That resilience is so important and am sure those wins will come Very Happy

We have a 14 point cushion now between us and the Posh in 7th.
