Bryan Oviedo has explained his deadline day move to West Brom broke down as a result of an administrative error.
The Costa Rica international had been set to complete a loan move to the Hawthorns for the rest of the season but saw the move break down in the eleventh hour.

The 28-year-old left-back has performed well for Sunderland but is on huge wages for a League One club. Given the form of summer signing Reece James and the rise of academy graduate Denver Hume, Oviedowas seen as more expendable than Sunderland's other high earner, Lee Cattermole, in the winter transfer window.
And speaking to crhoy.com, a publication in his native Costa Rica, the former Everton defender claims he had passed a medical at West Brom and the move broke down as a result of a failure to submit the relevant paperwork on time
"I was notified at 6p.m, I travelled about three hours from my house, I did the medical tests and I signed, but in the end it was 11:05 and I saw that something was strange.
"I asked my representative and he told me that they supposedly did not send the documents before 11pm.
Speaking on the Roker Rapport podcast, owner Stewart Donald said the blame did not lie with Sunderland.
"We received an inquiry. I didn't think it was quite enough if I am honest but we checked with the footballing people and they said they were happy with it," Donald said
"We let Bryan talk to West Brom and West Brom said they would like to do it. We said OK. This was with plenty of time to get the deal done and then on lunch time on transfer deadline day our focus is completely and utterly on the ins.
"It was a bit of good news on the outs because it would help with the cashflow. If the footballing decision is the right thing then it is all right. We left it to Bryan and West Brom and we were sat there waiting for the paperwork and the paperwork never arrived.
"So why that didn't happen is down to West Brom and Bryan, not Sunderland. We agreed for him to go. They didn't complete the deal."
