A Happy New Year

Post  Nostalgic on 2018-12-31, 5:25 am

to everybody on here and their connected friends and family.  We are within six hours of 2019 over here and generally acknowledged as being the first country to see the new year in so I will kick things off here.

The way things are going it is looking that it will be a look back over life and events for wife and me, not saying we are past it but our idea of party time is to remember those who are not with us and some of the memories we have of them and their impact on our lives
New year, fresh beginning and hopefully only good things for all of us.  beer

And a happy New Year to you, yours and all Sundermadders and their families.

No party here in Coxhoe just a quiet night and to bed around 12.30. Fingers crossed for a good 2019 and some signs of a better, peaceful and more caring year ahead.

Best wishes to all for 2019

What a lovely post. Happy New Year to you and all your family Nos.

New Year's Eve is not a party night for me, just a time for a small family supper, where we think of loved ones and dear friends we have lost over the years. Sounds sad but we usually end up telling stories of things they said and did that made us laugh and it reminds us of happier times.

I know 2018 has been a terrible year for many of us on Sundermad. It was one of the worst of my life and certainly was the worst of my daughter's and grandchildren's lives. But out of every dark cloud we get a silver lining and my babies are home, safe, and we are lucky enough to be able to look after them.

At midnight, we will all raise a toast to a beloved partner and daddy, who was tragically taken far too soon. We cannot turn back the clock, and will never forget, but we look forward to the New Year with hope for a happier future for everyone.

I wish everyone health, prosperity, happiness, friendship and love for 2019. Cherish every moment of life and love, and may all your dreams come true.
