Watmore

Post  cyprussyd on 2018-11-08, 5:30 pm

Duncan Watmore took another step towards fitness on Wednesday afternoon, as he completed 25 minutes in a training friendly at the Academy of Light.
The forward is continuing to recover from a long-term knee injury, but a return to match action marks the latest milestone in his rehabilitation.

  • Watmore was back in black, and you can also suit up in our new away kit!

And although he still has plenty of work to do before he plays competitive minutes, the 24-year-old thoroughly enjoyed his cameo and is delighted to be back in training.
Watch the best bits from his return below, and hear from the man himself...

Both for the player and the club I hope he gets fully fit and at the top of his game. Getting into a game and handling the tackles and collisions.. and any reaction afterwards.

I am not alone in wishing him well
