Ahh but What will the team be?

In goal 'butterfingers'

CB OG

The argument for playing the game and not allowing fixtures to build is a strong one... but if we lose?

RUITER
MATTHEWS  BALDWIN LOOVENS  JAMES
CATTERMOLE  MCGEOUCH
GOOCH  HONEYMAN MAGUIRE
MAJA

Time to drop the butterffingers, I think everyone will be surprised. Last season Ruiter was doing OK, not great but OK before he was injured. The team had a lack of confidence but the new Sunderland will, IMO, bring a far better keeper.

Yeah Ruiter is fine except for shots, crosses and balls at his feet

But I will not be upset if I am proved wrong!

Pre season last year and fans were clamouring for us to sign Ruiter....we eventually did and he looked like our first choice...til we signed Steele...then Camp...a couple of errors and an injury and the keeper everyone wanted to sign was labelled crap...just like the other two

I don't think he's a bad keeper...obviously Jack Ross rates him otherwise he would have been gone along with Steele and Camp

Give the bloke a second chance like all the other players (cattermole for example) and you may be surprised...after all if McLaughlin gets injured we have no one else....and before anyone says it Strychek (spelling?) ain't ready
