Jack Ross: “We have to get better at dealing with intensity and expectations.“ #SAFC

Jack Ross: “Every away game we’ve played has felt like a cup tie. Teams are raising their games against us.“

Jack Ross: “We need to keep a lid on it though (praising Maguire) and not post anymore pictures with a crown on his head.“

Jack Ross on Chris Shagger McGuire: “I played against him in my second last appearance, I fouled him and gave away a penalty.
“I needed players that I know could cope with the demands of playing here.
“He’s got a cockiness, a swagger about him.

Jack Ross: “Bali Mumba has gone straight from school to training with the first team. There’s not a lot of players who have done that at the club in recent years.

Jack Ross admits discussions with Josh Maja over a new contract are “ongoing.“

Jack Ross: “There’s absolutely no reason the club can’t achieve that (successive promotions)
“I’ll see myself as a failure if I don’t guide this club back to the Premier League.“

Jack Ross: “I’m looking forward to Duncan (Watmore) returning. Just to see the qualities he has. He’ll give us the ability to stretch the game.

Jack Ross: “I tried to do as much homework on the club is I could. But that first day was a long, long day.
“I rang my wife and my dad and said ‘you will not believe how big this club is.’ The media scrutiny was on another level

The effort the top guys are putting in have been fab. Re connecting with the fans, great PR and not doing too badly on the pitch either. Long may it continue.
