Bradford City v Sunderland

Post  cyprussyd on 2018-10-03, 8:02 am

Bradford City v Sunderland
Saturday 6th October
KO 15.00
Northern Commercials Stadium

A short trip down the A1/M1 and turn right and we are in the multicultural city of Bradford for this mouthwatering game, have I got you excited yet?

This is a game we should win and a performance like last night, especially the first half should see us take all three poin but what will be the team?

We know Oviedo is out and we should have Cattermole and Honeyman back in contention with Loovens, Hume and Gooch still out.

I expect James at left back, Cattermole and Honeyman back, I dont share the Honeyman is crap view personally but who drops out?

Or do we drop McGeouch and put Honeyman on the bench?

Over to you Jack.

Not at all, he is the obvious one to drop, cant see us dropping Power and bringing Catts back is a must for me.

Have I missed something? Is McGeady not available? He was class last night and needs more game time.

Obviously we see a different McGeady.

All I saw wrong with McGready last night was he ran out of steam, not surprising with no pre season and next to no game time.

To a certain extent the team picks itself what with injuries and suspensions.

I presume Catts is back and McGeoch on the bench

Honeyman starts would be my guess and MvGready subs him in second half

A win would be good obviously and an elusive clean sheet will be a big help towards that!

MACLAUGHLIN
MATTHEWS  BALDWIN  FLANAGAN  JAMES
MAGUIRE CATTERMOLE POWER
MAJA  SINCLAIR  MCGREADY
RUITER  MCGEOUCH OZTURK HONEYMAN ROBSON KIMPIOKA

Well thats my best guess hard on McGeouch but must bring Catts back and Mcgready did enough for me to relegate our captain to the bench, a very strong bench IMO.

^^^^^^ totally agree with you Syd. Lasted longer than expected as well considering it was his first match.

I think McGeuch had his best game for us. Bit shaky at the start but got better as the game went on. Not at Catts standard yet but methinks he's gonna be a decent asset to SAFC.

When you think of the fare that has been served up to the fans in the past few years it is nothing less than amazing that so many still follow them away.

On Tuesday night against Peterborough I was nervous but those nerves disappeared in our first half performance.

Today I am supremely confident of all three points.
