Social media and football forums seem to think Ross got it wrong in making Honeyman captain and there could well be some truth in that.

So my Sunday poll question is who would you make captain?

He is not our best player.. atm he is just about worth his place..if everyone was fit, he may not be in the starting 11. He is a local lad and Sunderland through and through

Catts possibly but he may move on on
Baldwin could be the man but atm I would not change the skipper as I think the squad is beginning to gel.

I think it has affected Honeymans game. I prefer a defender who can usually see a lot more of whats going on. Baldwin would be my choice.

If Catts is to stay then him, purely he is leading by example.

I think Honeyman is getting harshly criticised. He may not be our best player but I think he's playing alright and doing a decent job. There's other leaders in the team as well so that's good.
