If we are heading for promotion, which I fully expect, that top tier will be open before the end of the season.

This in itself poses a question though. Do you want the fairweather supporters there who soon bail out when things are going wrong or would you prefer the hard core faithful who are positive about the team and support them through thick & thin?

A full stadium is always good. There's probably a few who will come back after xmas for half season tickets. What used to bug me before I had a season ticket was when we were allegedly full and I couldn't get  ticket e.g. Sunderland vs Everon under Allardyce. Had to watch it on telly and saw loads of spare seats. Presume they were eason ticket holders not turning up. Why on earth wouldn't you turn up for that game. Slightly strayed ffrom the point didn't I.

I have been in my present seat now for three seasons and the seat next to me is unavailable, I presume because its a season ticket seat but, in those three years it has never been used. Why would that be?
