Bid for Billy Sharp rejected on deadline day and Man U striker would prefer championship club, come on Sinclar and Wyke, we may need you both

This last striker is taking some finding but the problem with loan players is the parent club will want guarantees of game time so who do we drop, Maja, Sinclair when fit or Wyke when fit?

With Maja's form a back up free agent may be the best option.

That’s why it’s allways complicated with loans
Although there is no loyatiy with players now
So it makes no difference who starts

However it does quote Ross saying he wnts hungry young striker with potential rather than an old stager.

My point is drop anyone if the player coming in is better
Regardless weather he is ours or loaned in

Echo reckons there are at least 9 possible loanees

If they ate better than what we have got.. they play... besides which we have lots of league and various cup games.. so everyone will get to play... not forgetting injuries

We do need to score goals... it may be that Maja is a fox in the box... but needs done one to play off

I dont expect to see a lot of him this season after the two years he has had so off the bench in numerous positions.

They are being very careful with him, but if he attains the fitness and pace shown in his early days and when representing the England U 21s, he will be a great asset to the side.
To me it looks like Ross will play with Wyke up top and two/three attacking midfielder/ attacking types rotating behind him. McGuire, Sinclair, Gooch, Watmore, O'Nien and the like could all be used in that role.

And Maja playing off Wyke is another option, exciting times
