Bristol City - offered more money. They were reportedly after Jack Marriott but are likely to end that interest now. We might go for him.

Donald said on twitter we have been priced out of one target and I guess this is the one.

Mo Eisa move to Sunderland looks like it is OFF - and here’s why 1 Mo Eisa is headed just 30 miles from Cheltenham to nearby Championship club Bristol City after Sunderland pulled out of the running. By Andy Tomlinson@SAFCsource Jul 21, 2018, 6:02pm BST SHARE Sunderland are set to miss out on Cheltenham Town’s Mohamed Eisa after his club accepted an offer from Bristol City for the striker. View image on Twitter Cheltenham Town ✔ @CTFCofficial CLUB STATEMENT | Cheltenham Town FC have today (Saturday) accepted an offer for the transfer of Mo Eisa to another club for an undisclosed fee. Mo has therefore been given permission to discuss personal terms #ctfc 5:45 PM - Jul 21, 2018 17 17 Replies 46 46 Retweets 68 68 likes Twitter Ads info and privacy Jack Ross had hoped to sign the 24-year-old and had hoped a bid of £1.25m would be enough to sign the player, but with the financial aspect of the deal pushing past £2m when add-ons are included, it priced Sunderland - and League One rivals Portsmouth - out of the race. Although we have missed out on Eisa, the club is confident of signing a Championship striker that they’ve had interest in for weeks, and there is still interest in Bradford City’s Charlie Wyke but that deal has been complicated somewhat due to the player picking up an injury in their last pre-season friendly.
