FAO Syd and Jerry

Post  canary-dave on 2018-07-14, 1:12 pm

One of our posters on Norwich not606 has posted a request for donations for his son's charity venture. At the end, he explains why they're using BT Donate rather than Just Giving, maybe worth a look?

Hi all. I know I don't post much anymore but just wondered if anyone would help support my son (11) who is raising money for The Little Princess Trust.

He's been growing his hair long for years now and it's now at a good length to be cut and donated.

Little Princess Trust makes wigs for children who lose their hair to things like cancer treatment.

My son is donating his hair but also fundraising to help pay for the wig to be manufactured.

There's some photos and more info on the link below. If you can't spare anything then a retweet or post to Facebook/Instagram etc is greatly appreciated too.

PS we used BT donate as they don't deduct a penny from donations nor charge donators a fee unlike just giving etc.

I meant it's worth a look to see if more of the money goes to Help for Heroes  like
