Good, I'm slightly despondent after last night but that's possibly just because my son's football coach is a Darlo fan.

Sunderland owner Stewart Donald has given an update on the current transfer situation via his Twitter account - a response that has came perhaps after some supporters expressed their dismay at our lack of spending so far in the transfer window.
Jack Ross’ side lost 1-0 in their first game of pre-season to National League North side Darlington last night, which prompted some fans to speak about their frustration at the fact we still need to significantly strengthen our side ahead of next season.
But Donald responded with a tweet this morning urging calm - and stated that they are working hard on bringing another four or five players to the club.

It’s obvious that Sunderland are still lacking depth in certain areas of the squad, and whilst you can’t take too much from a pre-season result it did indicate to those watching that we’re still a little bit small, slow and weak in almost every area of the pitch.
Sunderland are intent on signing two more strikers - proven scorers at this level that can really shore up our forward line which has been lacking in numbers ever since Lewis Grabban was recalled by AFC Bournemouth in January.
It’s thought that the club are also keen to add defensive reinforcements, and with only two central defenders on the books that will be important. Alim Öztürk and Tom Flanagan featured yesterday evening but in backup we named U23s centre back Brandon Taylor amongst the substitutes, and for a portion of the game both Donald Love and Adam Matthews featured through the middle.
With just four pre-season games remaining the club will be keen to get players through the door sooner rather than later, so hopefully by the time we head to Hartlepool we’ll have one or two new faces on show.
