Whilst things appear to have quietened down since the madness of Monday - when three new faces arrived and the majority of the first-team squad jetted out to Portugal for pre-season training - it would be foolish to assume that the club have slowed down with regards to recruitment and sales of players.
Whilst Jack Ross is busy putting the squad through their paces under the Albufeira sun, the Sunderland owners and recruitment team are working very hard on a number of deals in order to ensure that we’re in a healthy shape as early as we possibly can be before the season begins next month.
It’s understood that the club are incredibly close to receiving the fees that they want for FIVE of our want-away players, and provided that there are no major hitches we could see the back of some of them sooner rather than later.

Wahbi Khazri has become the subject of a major bidding war amongst clubs from France, Turkey, Belgium and China and after a fine season with Rennes and then a fruitful World Cup campaign with Tunisia, the club are well within their rights to demand a decent fee from those that wish to acquire him.
Didier Ndong is also wanted by a number of clubs, and it’s thought that Serie A and Premier League outfits have expressed an interest in signing him. He’s still yet to report back for pre-season training and, as such, he’s within a breach of his contract.
Lamine Kone is also expected to leave relatively soon, and was allowed to stay back in England to train with our U23s as the club felt it made more sense since he’s close to a move away from Wearside.
In terms of incomings, the recruitment team are working hard on bringing in a couple of strikers and another central defender and they hope to have at least a couple more through the door by next week, when pre-season steps up a notch and they start playing friendly games against tough non-league opposition in Darlington and Hartlepool.
Stay tuned right here at RokerReport.com throughout the summer as we continue to bring to you the news regarding transfers and just about everything else first.[/size]

Sacking him would cost us a transfer fee and he is far from lazy, ask anyone who saw him play. He is also far from useless, not worth anything like 13 million but far from useless.

Oh Billy, why do you have to spoil things with your rather silly posts and I'm sucking nothing, just been grown up, go on, give it a go.

But lets go with your idea and just sack him.

N'Dong you are sacked
Thank you very much, Mr Agent get me a good deal with a massive signing on fee now I am a free agent

Win, N'Dong, new club and a few mil in the bank
Win agent with a big fee
Win new club with no transfer fee to pay

LOSS, Sunderland, no fee, no return on 13 mil paid, back to the good old piss taking days.

Great idea Billy.

Who do you hope the other 2 are  then? Dilibodge and Cattermole for me - not Honeyman or Asoro.

I think the 5 are Khazri, Oviedo, NDong, Pappy and Kone
