I'm going to fall foul of Billy here  whilst I completely agree with the miners' situation I do feel a lot of sympathy with the Hillsborough police commander

It was his first duty  only hours after his promotion  he was lied to by those beneath him and only became aware of the situation when it was already too late to do anything about it.

I know most will say the buck stops at the top but manslaughter is a very serious crime which I'm not sure he is guilty of.

Just my honest opinion.  like

I think he will die in prison and like you I'm not sure that is fair. Some things are criminal others are simply circumstances conspiring against us. I simply cant see how he could ever get a fair trial when many simply want a scalp, any scalp.

Not at all Dave & that tw*t Bettison should be up in court with him.
It's the lies, cover up & blaming it on fans that get on my hampton.
Not just police corruption but government collusion too.
Unlawful killing has been proved. They deserve justice which they've waited a bloody long time for.
He was guilty of opening the gates to avoid the crush in Leppings Lane.
The police have to be held accountable.
And don't even get me started on the miners strike.
