not a movie... but Vera set usually in Northumberland in autumn/winter, speaking of which playing Dunstanbrough today

DEBBIE AND THE ANACONDA
A everyday tale of Pittington folk


A cult film made by a retired accountant in the Durham village of Pittington. Debbie, a buxom lady in her late 20's is a guest at said accountants house and finds the pet anaconda and is secretly filmed making friends with the snake.

The first couple of Harry Potter movies used Alnwick castle as Hogwarts - but not really 'set' in North east.

The latest Transformers movie- The Last Knight? shot several scenes on Bamburgh beach and also at Alnwick Castle. Was the talk of the village to find Mark Wahlberg attended mass at the local Seahouses Catholic Church when he was here filming!
