I'm still managing the occasional game of walking football so if the Right Half position becomes vacant, I'm your man.

Far to good for the bench IMO, I was about to build a team around you both but got the bullet.

Following some strange team selections and a deputation from the players it has been decided to terminate the managers contract (cyprussyd) with immediate effect.

We would have thanked him for his efforts but to be honest he made none so it's good riddance.

Mr Billy D will take charge of team affairs until a new manager is found.
                                             Canary

Vince                        Syd                       Vinkle                   Les

Jerry                         Rover                    Nick                     H

                               Mr RAW                 Panther
Dave has apparently played keeper for the Met Police so even at his age is probably better than Steele.
Vince is a stockily built lad. I was gonna put him centre mid but he has a bad back so I stuck him at RB.
Syd's a big bloke, proper centre half material - a stopper.
Vinkle I don't know, just giving him a try out.
Les played LB for the county so he's in.
Jerry can put in a good cross so that's why shes there.
Rover is our Gazza - attacking midfielder.
Nick is our Catts - there to hold things together in the middle of the park.
No need to explain about H - best left winger on our books.
Mr RAW has played a lot of Sunday football & scored some cracking goals, (apparently) so I put him up front.
Panther did great in the predictions so I'm hoping his does as well on the field.

At only 1.76m i would struggle on high balls to a big striker, but i could use the old 'elbow in the ribs or tap on the ankle tactic.

Very, very upset at how soon the old manager has been forgotten.

Pack of bastards the lot of you, I will make my views known when I am on Gillette Soccer Saturday with Jeff.

All (both) of the managers in the history of SunderMad F.C. are cunts !

Is it because I don't post regularly that I haven't even had a mention, or is it 'cos I'd show you owld bastards up 'cos I still play twice a week Evil or Very Mad

F*ck the manager, whoever it is or will be soon, then. I'll display my 'talents' at Durham Cricket Club on Thursday night as usual, then on sunday morning at Concord's Millennium Centre, like I do every week . . . . they appreciate me Sad

You're only saying that to keep in with the new manager!!

I don't think Syd checked to see what talent he had at his disposal and he took the easy route in team selection, so I'm happy he's been given the push.

I'll give Billy the benefit of the doubt because he was thrust into a job he probably didn't want but I'm expecting him to take genuine talent into consideration and I'm expecting to get off the bench very soon.

If that doesn't work then I'll do what we all did ..... it's my ball and if I'm not picked then I'll bugger off home with it and you'll all be left stranded !!

Just wait until you see those fine specimens in the showers, question is will Dave still have his braces on in the shower?
