Just had word from the FA.
You all have to go for drug tests at Durham.
So if any of you are on any banned substances please stop taking them now.
Codine is on the list btw.

Re: We could have a SunderMad team

The FA have today opened investigations following allegations that  Billy D used his position as SunderMad  manager to advise a businessman on getting around third-party player ownership laws.

Filmed during an undercover operation by the Daily Telegraph, Billy is claimed to have met people who he thought were representatives of a Far East firm from which a £400,000 deal was said to be negotiated.
When asked about the rules preventing third-party ownership, Billy was filmed on a hidden camera saying: "It's not a problem."

He added an unnamed group had been "doing it for years" and "you can still get around it", suggesting they employ the player's agents to compensate for the fact they are no longer allowed to profit from each transfer directly.
Billy D repeatedly told the undercover reporters that he would require clearance from his bosses at the FA before any deal could be finalised.
Billy has yet to respond to the allegations, while the Football Association have asked to see the all of the Telegraph’s recordings as part of an internal investigation, which will be led by new chairman Greg Clarke and chief executive Martin Glenn.

Will we need boots or trainers ('cos it's expected to be sunny in Pennywell (unless it's a home game, of course) and studs might not be necessary) ?

p.s. where is our home ground ?

You'll need your boots.
Home games will be played at Tanfield Lea cos they let me have the pitch for £5 a game.

I haven't got any boots, Billy . . . . I only play on all-weather pitches, with trainers Shocked

I'd be alright if I had 'Billy's boots' (from The Scorcher, I think) Wink

How much are boots (unless the cost is your responsibility, Billy, in which case I don't care Laughing ) ?

Typical fair weather fans, all bluster until they find that they are not playing or see its not some glamour game like Blyth or Gateshead then you cant see them for dust.

My team may not have had the brylcreem boys and hairspray girls of Billies but they did have pride, passion and commitment.
