Re: We could have a SunderMad team
I realise that he is having to deal with a lot of bitching but if Billy is still the manager when can we expect to see his latest team sheet?

The season has just finished. I'm off to Rowlands Gill caravan park to sun myself but will keep in touch.
Still need a centre half btw.

I will be vice-captain so we can be good cop - bad copJerry the Jinx wrote:I just wrote out a whole list of contractual demands but didn't post it properly
The gist of it was
Have to be captain so I can boss you all
I only stand still and cross the ball if it comes to me - no running involved
Have to have better shoes
Physio role involves telling any soft gits to get up
No ball rubbing, though crushing is available as appropriate
Agree definitely no running (might be a problem that as we are both wingers

I will happily ensure the cold wet sponge gets used - post match ice baths too.
Have to find the balls first

Re: We could have a SunderMad team
I am sitting here on my decking outside my caravan in the tropical outskirts of sunny Gateshead & the phone has never stopped.
I have arranged our first pre season friendly with Pennywell club.
I have had to make some changes due to Rovers being knackered in several places so I will put Gordon there.
I have decided that Sunders will take Syd's place at CH.
Otherwise, as you were chaps & chapesses.
Date to be confirmed.

Oh and enjoy your pre season tour of Pennywell.
I had used contacts to sort a pre season tour of Weston Super Mare.

That suits me. I'm officially a left-footer, but I use both feet. I can pass, and shoot, accurately with either, but I can't tackle (or head the ball, 'cos I've got lovely hair that I don't want to mess up). So I'll be our Glenn Hoddle, that can pass but can't tackleBilly D wrote:I am sitting here on my decking outside my caravan in the tropical outskirts of sunny Gateshead & the phone has never stopped.

Have you not been bladdered yet, anyway . . . . you seem to have been in charge for a lot longer than Syd was (rightly so)

I get the impression that Gordon Armstrong is a bit of a prim donna but I think our forthright manager could sort him out should the need arise.
