Sunderland v Burton
Sat 21 Apr
KO 15.00

Sadly I fear an even smaller crowd, fans tell me all they want is effort, well you are getting that so why are you not going? I don't understand it but never mind, I will be there.

A lot depends on injuries so team will be decided later but a full blown blood and gust game is expected.

Says it all Billy you rely on others for your views because you dont have a clue mate, not a clue. Everything that is wrong with so called Sunderland fans can be seen in Billy D.

But thank you for saying I am bonny, you can get something right.

Two points Syd:

It's probably fair to say our keepers aren't very good.

I have rturned to the SOL since the team looked like they are putting the effort in and it's not exactly round the corner for me.

Wish I could Billy but sadly my legs struggle to get me to the SoL. I do however listen to every minute and tp fans from the branch who do go. I object to anyone who trots out they are shite because they certainly are not. Camp was responsible for first goal and poor defending for second. McNair had good game and scored good goal, not shite in any way. The team gave everything they had but some are not good enough but that does not make them shite.
I do my best not to call or knock the team at every given chance, its not IMO what supporters do.Yes be critical and realistic but to spout they are shite shows no imagination, little intelligence and absolutely no class whatsoever.

Ask me another?

I was a bit irate with you but thats a good answer so I forgive you.
I can;t get to home games due to health reasons. I can't manage the stadium steps.
I assume you form an opinion of away games same as I do?

What I’ve been saying for a while now is
We do often play well but some how just can’t manage a few more wins.
However we have played poor on a few more occasions and have resulted in some times heavy defeats.
Never the less we have not been poor all the time and deserved more wins.
I think these means when we play good we can’t win
And when we play bad we get hammered

Stick Rodders in. Even with a broken leg would be better than all our goalkeepers put together. Even if he wasnt trying.

The really annoying thing is that Camp can make some great saves but is always capable of a blunder or two.

IIRC we got £2m for Vito Mannone... I wonder how many more points we could have garnered  if we still had him?

But he did not want to be here and how often does it work when a player wants out?

I heard a stat on Ch5 footie programme tonight that this season we had lost 22 points from a winning position, and they all ended up draws!

That is amazing but tells the story of our season really.

I am absolutely certain if we had kept Vito at least half of those games would have been wins - at least 12 more points - and we would have been well safe.

Sad really as Camp actually made a couple of decent saves today as well, but we cannot afford even one error these days as it always costs us points.

Sadly I can see Burton inflicting the final nail, we should win and we can win but will we, I have my doubts. Win lose or draw my mind has now moved on and I may be disappointed with the remaining games but wont be that sad.

It's been a long hard season for the club and a harder one for us fans, at the final whistle of the final game most players will move on but we remain and can only hope for better, it could hardly be worse.

For that reason my final games will be fairly pressure free, a good day out with football the excuse, it all starts on Saturday.

This season has been a painful one and the team is certainly putting us through agony, three games to go and we still have a slim chance of stopping up...even a win against Burton may not be enough depending on other results....I just wish it was all over headache

No surprise here in Coxhoe, I will be there whatever and TBH cant see the problem, stay up or go down wont change and listening alone on the radio is far worse for me.

Ditto in that yup I will be there but my honest opinion is that no team is as bad as we have portrayed ourselves this season. There is definitely a hidden agenda and some players arent trying for a reason. Yes that is just a hunch but no amount of logic or sensible proposals from any of you will convince me otherwise.
